Now that my last 5 quilts
are with the long arm quilter, I’ve pulled the next WIP to work on. This is
Halloween Figs Sampler by Fig Tree & Co.
Fat Quarter Shop offered a block of the month for this pattern in 2020. You can read more about the beginnings of this project here:
-
Introduction on July 14, 2020
-
Month 1 blocks on December 20, 2021
-
Month 2 blocks on February 4, 2022
Month
1 blocks
Month 2 blocks
And here are Month 3 blocks
There are a few applique’ blocks in this pattern and I doubt that I will make those. I’m hoping to be able to substitute with pieced blocks of the same size.
I’m slowly working through
the quilt projects I previously started. This is the same goal I have for my
cross-stitch projects. So, I hope you come back on Friday to see that progress.
I am joining WednesdayWait Loss hosted by Jennifer
– The Inquiring Quilter. I’m always amazed at the eye candy shared there.
And I’ll leave you with photos
of a few of my rhododendron. These were blooming when we returned from our
recent trip. Such a sweet sight to come home to and they’ve even produced more
blooms since taking these photos last Sunday.
See you soon!

Enjoy working on that quilt! The rhododendrons are lovely.
You are doing amazing working through all your WIP's. I will be working on quilting up all I pieced over the winter.
Those blocks are adorable, they look like fun to make with those cute fabrics. When I first saw your photos of the blooms on IG I thought they were peonies, then I saw the leaves and thought azaleas, but the leaves still look a little different, so Rhododendrons it is! I think Rhododendrons are prettier, and I read that they are evergreen. Azaleas in Texas do come back every year and bloom first then put on their leaves.
This is going to be such a pretty quilt, Jeanna! I love your mellow colors - especially the orange. The rhododendrons are beautiful!
that is a lovely quilt--the blocks look kinda complicated for me to do--all those angles...i know you will do a super job though...
Our rhodies are still tightly budded and not as yet blooming...
Beautiful sunny day today --very welcome after our 4 day rain event...hugs, Julierose
Happy Wednesday, Jeanna and welcome back. I hope you have been doing well. You have been missed. Your Halloween Fig sampler blocks look fabulous. Thank you so much for the links. Your rhododendrons are gorgeous. I have always wondered if I could grow them in my area. I am not sure. But love seeing yours. Enjoy your day. Hugs.
Your blocks are looking good and the flowers on your Rhododendrons are lovely. Good to come home to a cheery sight. xx
I love Fig Tree halloween fabrics! They're very classy!!! That is a super cute sampler you're working on!!! When will the 5 quilts be done? That's a bunch to deliver at once so I suspect it will take a bit of time.
I adore Fig Tree fabrics, and this pattern sure makes the most of them. What fun! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

Lovely quilt blocks. I am no where near that talented and need to work on my precision stitching. Those are some beautiful flowering plants.
God bless.
Your rhododendron is such a pretty colour!!
Have a lovely weekend.
All so pretty. Just checked out your Halloween figs blocks. That is on my bucket list, like the Red Bird sampler. We share many likes it seems!
Those are beautiful Blocks
