I enjoyed participating in Quilting Gail’s Stay At Home Round Robin challenge this year. She and her team of talented quilters dished out a ton of fun.
This is the little block I
started with for the SAHRR…
I was able to incorporate
all, except one, of the challenge blocks into a quilt top that measures 34” x
34”.
I had a hard time getting
the kite block to measure 3 ½”, which is my border size. So, I made a 6 ½” full
kite block.
It will be pieced into the
backing.
My fabrics are all from the French General line called Antoinette.
Thank you, Gail and
friends, for a fun time. Now I have an older embroidered piece that can be
displayed at Christmas.
I hope everyone’s week is
off to a great start. See you soon!

Jeanna , your quilt looks amazing! I love the fabrics that you used; they are scrumptious. Great idea on using the kite block on the back. It will make the backing extra special. Have a lovely day. Hugs.
Very pretty quilt. That blue floral fabric is beautiful.
It is a lovely finish. The borders have all worked really well. xx
Congrats on finishing and using the kite block on back of the quilt.
Jeanna, that turned out so, so pretty! I love your starting block, and I love the placement of that neat kite on the back. I am drooling over the French General fabrics. Great job!
This block really "grew" into a lovely piece, Jeanna;))) Great idea to use that block on the back to tie it all together...Nice work...
Hugs, Julierose
Love how you made all the prompts work for you, genius putting that one on the back too!
Your SAHRR turned out wonderfully, Jeanna! I love those blues and reds together - such pretty fabric. The kite block would make a great label since you plan to use it on the back!
I love your quilt! It really came out great. I also love your fabric. It was a great idea to use the kite block in the backing. You used everything they threw at you!!
That looks lovely - the diagonal border works really well
