Happy Tuesday, Friends!
Last Friday I sewed block #5 for the Sewcialites 3 quilt along.
Little Love Block was designed by Vanessa Goertzen of Lella Boutique. This one took a little time to put together. And because we had a weekend full of plans, I didn’t get around to making a test block for Lori Holt’s Spacious Skies Quilt.
Hubby and I drove over to Sylva, NC on Saturday to visit some new-to-us antique shops and have lunch. Sylva is a very historic town, and they have old pictures on most buildings that show what the town looked like many years ago.
I loved this old door.
I didn’t find anything I couldn’t live without, so we headed home. We decided to make a stop at a place on the way that we’ve been to many times. It is more like a junk store or a flea market. I found a ceramic pitcher and bowl for the dry sink.
I’m sure it isn’t antique as there aren’t any markings or stamps on it at all and it was cheap!
But I thought the colors would work for the blues I have in the dining room.
On Sunday, I pulled out a few spring decorations. I’ll show you those on Friday, along with a cross-stitch update.

What a beautiful, interesting state you live in! That quilt kit for Spacious Skies is gorgeous, that is on my dream wishlist. You got yours on a retreat, right?
I love the pitcher and bowl, I bought a set at an antique store and it's in one of our bathrooms. I try to rotate flowers in the pitcher. I am so overdue for a thrift or antique outing. I have it on my to-do's as soon as we can too. I have "learn to quilt" on my list of "get it done" this year. I have found a few local area places that give lessons too. Have a fantastic week!

I once had a dry sink similar to that. Very nice. Pretty heart too. Hearts are on my to quilt list. Also today, picked up Creative Grids Folder Corner Clipper. I LOOOOOOOVE it. Went with the mini. Happy Sewing. Cheers, Ivy.

Hey Jeanna! I just got my Wordy Wordless Wednesday ready for midnight and included the ruler. Not the best photo though. If you have YouTube there are a few on there that show how to use it.
I luvvvvvvveessssss this new ruler. Headed back to the sewing nook once the bread is ready to ferment.
Have you see the Creative Grids XL Stripology? OMG. If you like to make your own jelly rolls, this ruler rocks.
I can never resist an old door - and the post boxes are great too. The jug and bowl look very at home in your dry sink. xx
