The SAHRR quilt top, as well as my husband’s t-shirt quilt, are waiting to be quilted. In the meantime, I’m getting back to the unfinished projects I set aside when we moved… ahem… almost two years ago!
Next up is Flea Market by
Lori Holt.
All the blocks are
complete except the primrose blocks. I made the four brown ones a while ago.
Now I am working on the
other print blocks. There will be thirty-six of those.
The fabric, book and vintage
trim came in a kit from the Fat Quarter Shop. The fabrics are Lori’s Flea
Market line, Bee Cross Stitch and Bee Backgrounds.
The finished quilt should
measure 96 ½ x 96 ½. I’m hoping to have enough fabric to enlarge it a bit to fit
our bed.
Hubby and I did a bit of decluttering and organizing over the weekend. There are two donation boxes ready to go, with more to come. We didn't get the rain we were hoping for so the fires continue.
Enjoy the remainder of
your week and I’ll see you soon.

The blocks are beautiful – now that the first spring flowers are coming out here, it's especially lovely to see your blossoms.
I wish you much success with your top, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you have enough fabric to make the size you have in mind.
Warm regards from Viola
The Primrose blocks look nice. I see in the pattern photo that they are a border. It will be fun to see the finished top.
Ooof I hoped it would rain for your fires! :( Hopefully we can send some your way. Ours is supposed to start late tonight.
The primrose blocks are really pretty. Lori's fabrics are just so cute.
Just lovely primrose blocks, Jeanna! we've had kind of a little bit of "spitting" rains here and there--just enough to keep our lawn guy from working on our front garden AGAIN today!! Maybe if the sun comes out, he'll show up after all!! Have fun with this quilt making hugs, Julierose
Hope the fires are stopped soon...and the rain comes. The Primrose blocks look lovely - that will certainly be a BIG quilt!
Pretty fabrics for a pretty quilt! This will be a good one to work on next. Glad you're bringing it out to play!
Hope you get rain soon. Wish we could send you some of ours as we are over it. So much flooding. :( The blocks are beautiful.
It's a beautiful quilt and I hope you have enough fabric to make it the size you want. Pretty primrose blocks. I hope you'll get rain soon. We need rain too, to fill up the water reservoirs.
That looks like a lovely quilt - pretty fabrics in your blocks. xx
I love this project. So glad you're working on it. I can't believe you moved almost 2 years ago. Time flies!!!
That is going to be such a lovely quilt!!
