Happy Good Friday!
There has been a little
stitching happening over the last week. Most of my creative time has been spent
piecing quilt backs and pressing quilt tops in preparation for the long-armer.
But here is what I have today…
Progress on an old WiP
Memorial Day by Hands on

I finished the cross
stitches in the second flag and started the third. There is back stitching in
the flags that will be added at the end.

Christmas at Hawk Run
Hollow by Carriage House Samplings
I stitched the border and two letters in the first block. As I mentioned before, this will be a long-term project.
We travel to Florida again soon. I’m spending all my time between now and then preparing quilts for the long-armer. And since I won’t be sewing on the trip, I’ll bring a couple of cross stitch projects to move along. (Maybe the house sitters can take over some projects?!?)
I hope you have a
wonderful weekend and if you celebrate, Happy Easter!

Happy Friday. That is a bit of a trip to go to the long-armer. Ha ha
Enjoy your trip to Florida!
Happy Easter trip for you:))) Your little flags are beautifully done, Jeanna--so many little stitches--I am awed at how well you do counted x-stitchery...Your long term project will be just gorgeous...
Hugs for safe travels Julierose
You're doing well getting your cross stitch projects under control. Enjoy your trip to Florida! Happy Easter!!
What a clever flag cross stitch! At this rate you should have it ready for the 4th of July. Have a great trip!!!
Oh Jeanna, your stitch is looking amazing and wonderful start on the Hawk Run Hollow. I look forward to following you on this one. I had to giggle when you said that maybe your house sitter could take up some of your projects. I have been known to throw a few hints at my daughter to help me move some projects along. LOL. Have a wonderful weekend , a very Happy Easter and a safe trip. Hugs.
Every stitch counts - even if it's just a border! Both of these are moving along. Getting quilts ready for the long-armer is always a big job. Hope you're almost done with that chore, Jeanna!
Love the flag quilt. A very appropriate saying. We need it now. Good start on your long-term project. I so like your work.
Lots of stitching happening. Enjoy your trip to Florida.
God bless.
Hoping you had a nice Easter as well. Your cross stitching looks fabulous. I have some that needs to be finished also.
Happy & safe travels. The Mexican Oregano is not shipped until May 5. According to what I have read it has more citrus notes and licorice. It differs from the basic Oregano. Looking forward to receiving it, and using the dried leaves.
Enjoy your trip! Love your crossstitching too!
