Floss Friday -- Valentine Finishes

Happy Friday, Friends!

The sewing machine has been humming a little recently. I fully finished three Valentine pieces.

First is Sweetly Sayin’ Valentines Day by Primrose Cottage

I wanted a finish that was a little different and I think I accomplished that.

Second is Be My Valentine by Lizzie Kate

This is a small pillow for either a tiered tray or dough bowl.

I used a Love Letter fabric for the back.

Finally, Chalked Love by Rich Trent

I used the same Love Letter fabric for the back of this piece as well.

Love Letters is the theme for this year’s Valentine décor. I can’t wait to show you what I have planned.

We have a winter storm heading our way this weekend. Our weather forecasters are all over the place with their predictions. Doesn’t really matter to me as my plans for the weekend are to settle myself into a comfy chair and stitch, crochet or sew.

What is your weather forecast for the next couple of days? What are your plans for the weekend?

See you soon!

Such sweet finishes and in time for the holiday! Great planning! Stay warm, I hope the storm passes and that it leaves no destruction behind.

Your finishes are just eye candy! We are under a winter storm warning with ice and snow on the way. Just praying we don't lose power. Hope you stay warm and snug and safe!

Your Valentine finishes are so adorable, Jeanna! I just started Sweetly Sayin' the other night - just have "hugs" stitched so far. We have cold and snow here this morning, but not anticipating quite as much snow as they're predicting for the eastern part of the country. We'll be watching the Denver Broncos play in the AFC Championship game on Sunday, with breath held and fingers crossed!

No storms here but my weekend goal is to get better, I have a cold. I love your new finishes. Did you also make the little letters in the first photo, great addition.

I love your Valentine's Day Cross Stitch projects! They came out great! I'm staying in all weekend. We're getting 1-2 feet of snow and the temperatures will be in the single digits. Good time to sew! I hope your weather isn't too bad. Stay warm!

Rain rain rain is the forecast here - Storm Ingrid passed through yesterday with some strong winds but fortunately no damage. Stay safe and snug. xx

Your Valentine pillows are all so pretty. Lots of rain here so far this month. If there's one sunny day in between, we have to catch up pulling weeds in the garden. Stay inside, stay warm.
