A Few Christmas Decorations

Happy Friday, Friends.

I have decorated the house for the holidays and want to share just a few photos with you today.

I bought these stockings years ago when I first got my embroidery machine. I had ordered extra, expecting my family would grow.

The stocking holders are Santas from House of Lloyd’s Christmas Around the World. I purchased these many years ago at a home party…can’t recall who hosted. We were a family of four, at the time, but I bought a few extra...again, expecting my family would grow.

Our main tree is the live one we got at the tree farm after Thanksgiving. The others will be mentioned in a future post.

The thing I’m enjoying most is the Hoosier cabinet. I had no idea when I got it how fun it was going to be decorating this piece for each season.

It is a chocolate / cocoa bar this year.

The snowman runner was made by my friend Vicki at Vicki's Crafts and Quilting. She does amazing work and sells her handmade items on Etsy. You can find her shop here

You may have spied the runner's matching topper in a previous post.

I am not, by any means, a professional decorator. However, I do enjoy surrounding myself with things I love, especially at Christmas.

Enjoy your weekend!

LOVE your decorations! Those Santa stocking holders are priceless, and they are HTF items!
Love your Hoosier cabinet with all the hot cocoa decor, I would just park myself in front of it. :D We have a buffet we bought in 2008 that has been through many iterations and is currently our "beverage" buffet, housing our coffeemaker, espresso machine, Slushi maker, etc. I've added my Winterberry wine glasses and Irish coffee mugs to the mix. I just love looking at them!
I just had another look at your Aunt Lou's pound cake recipe. I'm going to have to try it!

I guess it is "Miss Lou", not Aunt Lou. Lou is my middle name, so it is calling to me - lol!

I love how you decorated the Hoosier cabinet. It's just perfect! My dad was a custom tailor so our Christmas stockings were made by him. I'm not sure I can duplicate them. I wish he'd made a few extra for us. I'll have to try making them one of these days.
