It is time for an update on the Witching Hour stitch-along. If you’ve missed it, here are links to the previous posts.

My dear friend Michele has decided to join, but like me, she is not participating in the drawings. Here is her progress.

Michele S

Gary H
And lastly, this is my piece.

Jeanna G

This has been so much fun for me to see the different fabrics and threads selected.

The next three letters are due to be completed by December 1st. I’ll share everyone’s progress from that assignment on the next Witching Hour Wednesday, which will be December 4th.

I hope you enjoy these progress updates.  I’ll be back on Monday with a regular post.

Oh, and Blogger still hasn’t fixed it’s NoReply-Comment issue. So, I will respond to your comment if we’ve communicated before. If you are commenting for the first time, please leave your email address so that I can properly thank you 😊

See you Monday!

They are growing nicely - interesting how the thread and fabric choices each react to the design. xx

It is fun to see each person's progress! I love the bats. I recently saw a post from a blogger who actually got a response from Google about the commenting issue. Apparently it's some privacy issue they decided to "fix." She got them to change it for her, but I couldn't tell if each blogger has to ask for it individually or not. Here's the link: artsandsocks.blogspot.com

Jeanna, Re: your comment about Melting Wax: It is very handy, and is designated for only melting wax. I have two pour spouts one for beeswax, and the other for soy wax which I don't make as often. I did the double boiler thing, it is messy, and clean up is difficult. This also melts the wax at a safe temperature. I found this to be a better option for me.

I love seeing how the different backgrounds look with the same cross stitch. It looks like a fun project!
