It
seems that I have three separate issues with Blogger.
1) I schedule posts to
publish on a specific date and time, they do not. I have to log in and physically click the “Publish”
button.
2) Some followers are not
allowed to leave a comment on my post.
They type the comment but it doesn’t publish. In my research, I came across this problem in a
few different places but those bloggers have their blog linked to Google
Connect, I do not.
3) I do not consistently
receive my email notifications when followers leave a comment. Therefore, I am constantly checking my blog
to make sure I do not miss anything from those who are actually able to leave a
comment.
I
sent my issues to Blogger, along with screen shots of my settings…waiting for a
response.
All of this to say, I apologize if you are one
of those followers that is not able to leave a comment. I also apologize if it takes me a little
longer to reply to your comment, if you were able to leave one.
Hoping this is corrected sooner rather than
later. Otherwise, I’ll be looking for a
different platform.

I've had the same problem with not getting email notifications of comments. It's very frustrating! :0/
I hope that you will hear back as many of us are having the same problem with comments. When you schedule a post for a delayed posting are you clicking the "publish" button? I was not doing that and had to go back constantly to publish it. Once I figured out that I needed to hit the publish button after scheduling the time, it worked great.
I have not had any problems.
I haven't had any issues with notification of comments (that I know of) but have noticed sometimes blogs are not updating on my feed. A new post is put up, but it doesn't show up on my feed, or my sidebar, until hours later. Blogger occasionally does have "issues" but they usually right themselves within a day or two...
I have all of your problems plus Linda's also...I wish we had just stayed @ blogger....
oh well, I guess they call it "progress" . I looked for answers but couldn't find any either...hugs, Julierose (Hello, Hello, can you hear me??? I know, not funny!! );--0000
Such a bummer Jeanna! I hope your problems are resolved soon. I wish I could offer some help. I can say have a blessed week though!
Hugs, Vicky
As for the 3rd on your list...it will not be fixed. It was a change made when there was an industry wide hack about a year ago. If you have your blog set up to send a notification to your gmail account, you will find the notification there. If you have it set up to send a notification to any other email service, you will probably receive a notice in your email or spam "delivery status notification (failure). Most mail service will not deliver mail sent from a third party (blogger). I don't use my gmail account, but I check it every day now to see if there is a comment. From there I can publish and reply to the commentor as a reply on the email. I still read my blog list from the blogger dashboard and my blog list there.
I had to link to my gmail in order to get my comments through email regularly...part of that was a Yahoo change in policy because of hackers. I was going crazy trying to figure out why everything was random. I thought I had all the links changed to my new email address (in blogger)but it still was not fixed. FINALLY I found one place I had not changed my email address. I did not change it on my blog profile link(the part where it says View my complete profile on your main page) I thought the email address was linked to all the blogspot profile preferences-NOT! Once I changed it there...I have not had one bit of problems...took me 6 months to get it right! Good Luck!
I haven't had any problems that I know of. As Needled Mom said - be sure after you schedule the post that you hit "publish" so that it will know you are ready for it to be published at that time. It will say "scheduled" by it.
Hey Jenna, sorry you are experiencing Blogger troubles, it's frustrating to say the least. Needled Mom and Gene Black are correct about the 'publish" for scheduled posts. And IF you edit your post after you have published, you will need to hit "publish" again or else it goes back to draft. Just FYI. Good luck.
I know some wordpress bloggers have trouble commenting...but I have not had any other issues....curious to what blogger tells you.
Well, I never thought that I might have problems. I guess I need to check my blog to see if I received emails on all of the comments.
