I have a small Janome which I cart to sewing circle and classes it's light weight and gets the job done. If you have a dealer or repair shop near you look for a good used, well serviced model so that you don't have to spend a lot for a machine you won't be using every day. My everyday machine is a Janome 6600 which I adore but nothing can beat a Bernina an dI'll never give up my 25 year old Bernie. A couple of years ago I spent a great deal of time researching machines... and was so overwhelmed with the information that I just gave up and made do with the Kenmore I already owned... lol! One important thing to consider is "how/who will repair my machine when it malfunctions?" Because it's a fact that the more features (especially computerized) the more difficult it will be to fix. A friend of mine went 2 months without their machine because they had to pack it up and ship to the dealer for repair... just my thoughts... let us know what you decide on! :-)moosecrafthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15309739222008330155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-431248473421785941.post-16184156517102145942014-12-20T08:25:30.387-05:002014-12-20T08:25:30.387-05:00I have had three Janome machines.
