There were very few stitches added to Parrot.
This is where I stopped
last week…
This is where I stopped this week…
The difference is 160 stitches. Can you tell? 😊
Doesn’t look like I’m
going to finish by the end of July but that is ok. I had just hoped to have it
finished and framed before September’s GaRon cross-stitch retreat in Montgomery,
AL. It may still happen but I’m not holding my feet to the fire to get it done.
I was almost led down the
rabbit hole of starting another project with Diann and Vicki…ALMOST!
Actually, I’m surprised I refrained. Those two are quite the enablers 😊
The next few days I'll be planning
for a big trip we are taking at the end of August. And I’m hoping to rearrange
my sewing space.
What are your plans for
the weekend? Whatever it is, enjoy it 😊
See you soon,
I can see the difference. Some projects are just slow.
ReplyDeleteProgress, even slow, is progress.
ReplyDeleteYes, parrot looks a bit more defined! Well I was unable to resist Diann and Vicki. I ordered floss from Michael's to pick up yesterday, and while I was online, I got some basting spray and storage boxes on sale and put it on my new Michael's credit card - lol! I'm blaming it on Diann and Vicki! Anyway I have my fabric prepped and in the frame, so we shall see if I get it done before summer is over. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh darn I thought for sure you would jump in with us!!
ReplyDeleteWe love to enable people in any way, lol! But good for you - sticking to a project you've already started. I think your parrot looks amazing - every stitch counts! A big trip sounds exciting - tell us more!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I am pondering going down that same rabbit hole. LOL. Your stitch is looking wonderful . Like Diann said- every stitch counts. Enjoy your weekend .
ReplyDeleteThe parrot is quite exquisite!!
ReplyDeleteI can see you did more stitching! I feel some projects are just slow no matter what we do. I rearranged my sewing room a few years ago and really enjoy it now. I'm sure you'll have a fun trip in August. You always seem to have great trips!
ReplyDelete160 stitches forward is better than nothing.
ReplyDeletere arranging sewing areas takes time and often uncovers all sorts of projects!...Good Luck.
