Happy Sunday, friends.
Late post but I finished
before the deadline.
I’m enjoying the Stay At
Home Round Robin hosted by Gail. The latest prompt came to us from
Wendy at Pieceful Thoughts.
Wendy challenged us with a
Sliced Square with an Insert block. I didn’t follow a pattern but made mine
from Wendy’s description. It was simple
and fun.
I combined this block with
the Friendship Star from round 3 and created this…
Round 5 will be revealed tomorrow,
and I look forward to seeing what Brenda has for us.
We are still living in a
construction zone. Hope they finish the floor next week and we can get back to normal
around here.
Enjoy your day 😊
Lots of nice movement in your piece, Jeanna. Coming together really well...nice work hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteI like the way you used the sliced block in your quilt! Sure hope your construction zone is done soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Wendy!
DeleteI love this effect on your quilt! I hope your construction is over soon. I hate having people in the house!
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty, Jeanna! I love that blue print with the red and flowers - it's perfect for your design. Great progress - you made it!
ReplyDeleteLiving in the dust and disarray of construction is no fun at all. I hope it gets done soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Fingers crossed this is the week :)
DeleteYour border and stars have worked very well. This is looking lovely. xx
ReplyDeleteI like your choice. It works very well for your quilt. I am waiting (impatiently) for today’s prompt.
ReplyDeleteOh I love your progress, it's so pretty, and each addition just looks like it is meant to be! Are you getting new flooring?
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty. Love the colors and the verse in the center.
ReplyDeleteHope your construction zone comes to an end soon.
Beautiful... and great classic colors. And I like the friendship star in the corners.
ReplyDeleteConstruction site brrrr... I hope that things return to normality quickly.
Best wishes from Viola
