Farm Girl Fridays - Week #11

Happy Friday Friends J

I am still having fun sewing along with Lori Holt and so many others in the Farm Girl Fridays Sew Along.

Week 11 brings us….

Grandma’s Quilt Block

And….

Haystack Block

This week’s blocks are super simple but not my favorites, mainly due to my fabric selections.  I have mentioned before that scrappy is not natural to me.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Friday rolled around fast this week. Scrappy may not be your favorite thing to make but you are doing very good with it......and maybe it will encourage you to do more of the scrappy look.

Scrap quilts are always hard for me too. I like the Grandma's block and they will both be wonderful in the big quilt.

Hi Jeanna! I have had a fun visit with you today. I have not done the two new blocks yet, but I am having SO much fun with this quilt along!
I have been a very bad blogger due to computer problems. But I hope to be back soon.
Your sons quilt is exquisite! What a treasure!!!!
Hugs

I love your blocks! I've fallen far behind but I did cut out two more blocks. The canning jars discouraged me and so I procrastinated but I'm back in the sewing room today.

I think you'll be amazed at how good your are with scrappy when you get all of your blocks together into a quilt top. I think they look super duper.

Beautiful blocks!
I've been sharing your posts with my young DIL.
Now she is inspired to start this quilt too!
